Connecting to Others

Once you’ve visited with us, you may find that you want to get to know those people around you on Sunday morning a little better. We believe that connecting to others in small-group settings provides the best opportunity for life-change (or transformation), encouragement, and accountability. Here are a few ways you can connect at Young Memorial:

Home Fellowship Groups

Our home fellowship groups meet monthly in several geographic areas. We currently have groups in Concord, Kannapolis, Mount Pleasant, and Salisbury. We have communion together with a short devotional by our HFG leaders. We then have a meal together to fellowship and encourage one another.

If you are interested in a HFG, please contact Quentin Long our Family Pastor, and he will be glad to assist you.

Youth Fellowship Group

Our youth fellowship group meets at various times and places! Check them out on their page.

Sunday Morning Bible Study

Our Bible Study groups meet each Sunday morning at 9:45 to study God’s Word, pray for each other, and encourage each other. Children and youth classes are age-graded. Adults may visit the various adult classes to find one they consider a good fit. If you would like help with finding a Bible Study group, please contact Brian Teague

Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery seeks to help people deal with the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of life. To find more information about our Celebrate Recovery ministry, please click here.

Discipleship 1

Are you interested in learning more about YMBC? Periodically, we  offer this two week class that will orient you to where YMBC is headed and what we do for Christ. At the end you have the opportunity to join us in covenant membership by owning the mission of the church. You also have the option to just continue to come and participate. If you are interested in attending, please contact the secretary on the contact page.
