Parent & Youth Ministry

In the book of Ephesians, the Apostle Paul exhorted mothers, fathers and then children! There was no separate meeting that Paul had to address in order to capture the attention of the youth. They young people were among the audience of adults! We have seen great value and productive ministry when young people "hang around" adults. A perfect recipe for making adults is to have young people spend enough time with them to understand what one looks like.

Ministry to young people at YMBC is not about separating youth from adults in all circumstances, though sometimes it does occur. This area of ministry is about the church being an extension of the parents and a resource by which they can minister to their own children. We want to place parents and youth together and mix them up with our ministry to see authentic relationships produced!

Our Parent & Youth ministry is led by our pastor who holds earned degrees in Earth Sciences, in Theology and in Christian Apologetics. The culture is increasingly hostile toward Christian moral values and our children are often the target of skeptics and critics. We aim to prepare them to be able to answer objections to their worldview with gentleness and respect.
