Love, Joy, Peace...
About Us
Our History
Young Memorial Baptist Church has a long history in Concord. We continue in the spirit of those who have gone before us in sharing Jesus Christ, who is the hope of the nations. We believe the Bible is God's Word and hold to the verbal, plenary inspiration of the Scriptures. God's Word has changed our lives. We know it has the power to change your life also. You possibly walk by sight. Come learn to walk by faith instead.
Young Memorial Baptist Church is a debt-free church and is grateful to serve the Lord together without the burden of debt obligations. We live to minister His grace to others!
Mission and Values
Ephesians 4:1-3 says, "I, therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace." ESV
We therefore remind one another to, "live worthy." We believe God has called us to holiness, and we seek to be faithful in that calling.
By loving one another and holding one another accountable to the gospel of Jesus Christ, we live daily. We eagerly and constantly attempt to maintain our Christian unity of the Spirit. We fail at times, but we repent and try again. It is through this process that we live and find strength to continue.
God consistently adds to our ranks by His grace. As the church grows, our story changes. We welcome you to join in the ever changing story here in Concord, NC.
